Justin holds a bachelor's degree in Music Composition from the Université de Moncton. He has studied composition with Glenn Buhr, Richard Gibson, Cam McKittrick, and Jean-Francois Mallet.
Justin Guignard has been active in the New Brunswick music scene for the last decade. Having started his career in singing at the age of 9, he has expanded his artistic realm to include composing and conducting.
Justin has studied voice with Melody Dobson, Daniel Lichti, Victor Martens, and Monette Gould. He has performed at the National Arts Centre (Ottawa, Canada), Carnegie Hall (New York, USA), and the Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière (Lyon, France).
Justin is the current conductor of the Mathieu-Martin High School Concert Band where he teaches. He also conducts the Codiac Concert Band and the Bel Canto Singers of Fredericton.
